Before we start, One of the most repeated questions in the community is Terrarium TV safe and legal?. To my fellow users, Terrarium TV is one such application that does not host any content on its own servers but instead, it fetches the content i.e freely available in the public domain and displays it to us.
Basic requirements to cast Terrarium TV on Chromecast.
- Many Smart TV’s come with an inbuilt Chromecast device then it’s perfectly good. If not I hope you already have a Chromecast connected to the HDMI port. Else buy Chromecast or Chromecast ultra for the media stream and avoid Chromecast Audio since it supports only Audio Streaming.
- Any Chromecast Supported app like LocalCast for Chromecast, Web Video Cast, Allcast, BubbleUPnP or AllConnect. The above apps will work out but we will be using LocalCast for this tutorial.
- Both the Smartphone and Chromecast must be connected to the same network.
